B&B Sheet Metal worked closely with the architectural team early in the hotel’s design, presenting samples of RHEINZINK-prePATINA zinc in graphite-grey and blue-grey. These pre-weathered zinc products naturally patina over time, offering a timeless aesthetic and durability, ideal for the hotel’s coastal environment. Morris Adjmi Architects appreciated the zinc’s European heritage, saltwater compatibility, and longevity, while RHEINZINK noted the material’s minimal maintenance and 100-year potential lifespan. B&B fabricated nearly 20,600 square feet of zinc panels for the project, collaborating with the architect and contractor to ensure precise fabrication, shop drawings, and on-site support for a flawless installation.

What We Achieved

B&B Sheet Metal collaborated closely with the architectural team during the early stages of the hotel’s design, showcasing samples of RHEINZINK-prePATINA zinc in both graphite-grey and blue-grey finishes. These pre-weathered zinc products develop a natural patina over time, providing a timeless aesthetic and exceptional durability, making them well-suited for the hotel’s coastal environment. Morris Adjmi Architects valued the zinc’s European heritage, saltwater compatibility, and impressive longevity, while RHEINZINK highlighted the material’s minimal maintenance requirements and potential lifespan of up to 100 years. For this project, B&B fabricated nearly 20,600 square feet of zinc panels, working closely with both the architect and contractor to ensure precise fabrication, comprehensive shop drawings, and on-site support for a seamless installation. Additionally, we provided mock-ups and submittals and produced materials at an accelerated pace to ensure timely completion of the project.
