A Downspout is a vertical pipe responsible for conducting water from the roof drain or gutter to the surface.
These tapered, round and smooth downspouts are part of the Americraft Gutter line but can also be used with any other copper gutter system. They are are also complimented by a full line of accessories. (See Americraft Gutter System for entire line)
American downspouts are usually formed using half hard copper while Americraft uses only the finest fully hard 18oz copper. These German imported downspouts are much higher in quality than American style downspouts and are surprisingly lower in cost. The reason for this difference is because German machines are much more costly and durable than the typical roll forming machines used in the United States.
