The Bridge Pediment has a semi-circular arch that has a rainbow-on-the-horizon type of effect in contrast with the door or window for which it accentuates. This popular contrast technique makes for a fantastic trim idea. The antagonistic relationship so as not to be flush with the end of the window or door, creates a direct appeal to the contrast that is both architecturally noteworthy and trendilicious.
