Z-formed

A Sill Flashing is a flashing that prevents the penetrability of the wall cavity. They are responsible for maintaining the structural integrity around cavities such as windows or other openings in the structure. Our Z-form provides a 3-way mechanical bond with its sawtooth like pattern.In fact, the local AIA (American Institute of Architects) chapter led a task force that gathered statistics on the sources of water intrusion and found that roughly 2/3 of the windows surveyed leaked into the wall cavity. Sill flashings provide a solution to this leakage and water penetration into the structure.
